There is minimum donation required to enter the Historic Synagogue Site

A Volunteer Docent, a member of the Barbados Jewish Community, will meet you at the Nidhe Israel Synagogue Site, the guided tour will take about an hour.

JOIN US FOR A ONE-HOUR ONLINE VIRTUAL TOUR OF JEWISH BARBADOS
Personally led and narrated by a Docent member of the local community, the tour includes a visit to the restored Nidhe Israel Synagogue (1654), its adjacent cemeteries, and the recently discovered Mikvah (ritual bath).
Learn how a group of Sephardic Jews, fleeing the Portuguese Inquisition in Brazil, made their way to Barbados and secured the protection of Oliver Cromwell, the Protestant leader of England and through the centuries how Jews prospered, then declined and eventually rebuilt the Barbados Jewish Community as it is today.
